Allergies

.
One condition that most patients are surprised we have success with is allergies. Are we treating allergies? Not exactly. So how do we get such good results?

What Causes Allergies?

The first assumption patients have is that their allergies are being caused by pollen or other airborne allergens. While this may be true at some level – this doesn’t explain why one person will react to a microscopic piece of pollen and another has no reaction at all.

Why do some people wake up with typical allergy symptoms (a rash on the skin, runny nose, or itchy eyes) and someone else suffer such severe symptoms that they can’t breathe?

Your Body Sees The Allergen As A Threat…

… and that’s why it responds the way it does. While one person let’s the “allergen” leave and enter the body without incident, the person dealing with allergies has a different reaction. Their body incorrectly evaluates the pollen, cat hair, or nut as a danger to the system.

The body is responding appropriately to a threat… only it’s not a threat at all. This is where chiropractic can help. The true purpose of receiving a chiropractic adjustment is not just to “move the bones.” Adjusting the spine affects the nervous system. Pressure on nerves from misaligned vertebrae affects how those nerves function and react to potential threats.

By adjusting the spine through a chiropractic adjustment, the interference to the nervous system is removed — allowing it to work as designed.

Can We Help You?

So, can we help your allergies? Not everyone with allergies is having the problem due to nerve interference. Each person has their own reason for experiencing the symptoms they are. Dr. Nenshi will sit down, learn about your health history and look for areas of your spine that could be causing nerve interference.

Dr. Nenshi has assisted patients improve their immune system using the Allergy/Sensitivity Elimination Reprogramming Technique (A/SERT), which is a combination of chiropractic adjustments, laser acupuncture and nutritional therapies. Please contact us if you would like more information.
