Five months ago, I underwent surgery for breast cancer. Lymph nodes were also removed in this surgery, resulting in numbness in my upper arm. The surgeon told me that the feeling may never come back due to nerve damage and most women I met at the cancer clinic concurred - most of them never did get the feeling back in their arm, even years after surgery.
I also underwent five weeks of daily radiation therapy, which left me feeling extremely tired and generally feeling unwell. As well, the skin on my chest area was burned and the scars from my surgery were irritated and red.
I had a detoxification treatment with Dr. Nenshi and felt somewhat better the next day. After the second detox treatment, I felt enormously better and after the third, felt quite back to normal. As well, during the third detox treatment, Dr. Nenshi used the cold laser on my upper arm and breast area.
The very night of my first laser treatment, I felt tingling in my upper arm. The next day I had actual feeling in my upper arm for the first time in five months. Also the scars from my surgery had faded to the point where they looked like year old scars. After two laser treatments, the redness and puckering were completely gone and the scar had faded to white.
I tried both these treatments as a "can't hurt" attempt to feel better, never dreaming that the results would be so immediate and amazing. Thank you Dr. Nenshi and your wellness team. I will be telling ever woman I meet at the cancer clinic about these treatments.

I first met Dr. Nenshi when I was trying to find something to relieve my infant son's gastric distress (i.e., colic symptoms). She was welcoming and gentle to both of us; explained her methods (percussor, cold laser and manual adjustments); and demonstrated them on me before turning to my child. She encouraged me to try some unique feeding positions and shared her experiences as a new mother. Through our chiropractic sessions and baby massage I have learned to be more observant of his physical wellbeing and development, as well as, reduced his gassiness and some misalignments. Pediatric chiropractic care is different from that of adult care: much more delicate. It can be a difficult and controversial decision to seek alternative care for your baby, but Dr. Nenshi is great at what she does. She helped us through a difficult time; I am very grateful. If my son could talk, he'd probably say, 'Dr. Nenshi is my friend' and 'I especially like looking at the shadow of her laser'.

Dr. Nenshi's skill as a diagnostician gave me the confidence to advocate for the care I required from my physician and gynecologist. When I arrived at Dr. Nenshi's office for a maintenance appointment, I described a pain I had had in my abdomen two days prior to my visit.
The pain was strong enough to put me in the fetal position for two hours but then disappeared entirely. Dr. Nenshi examined my abdomen and determined that although the generalized debilitating pain was gone, there was point tenderness deep down near my left ovary. This was important information because I knew that I had a large ovarian cyst on my left side that had been a concern during my pregnancy but had not been since I delivered. I used this information to insist on an ultrasound; however, the report was "nothing different compared to previous scans" and I was advised to wait until I had another pain attack, at which time they would try to diagnose it. Fortunately, the results were also sent to my OB/GYN who recognized immediately that the cyst was rotating and in danger of rupturing. She quickly scheduled me for surgery to remove the cyst. I did not initially want to undergo an operation; however, two more pain attacks before the date of the surgery and consequent trips to emergency in the middle of the night convinced me that I was ready for 'the knife'. During my post-operative recovery period, Dr. Nenshi used her percussor and cold laser on lesions that were slowing down my intestinal tract (causing both constipation and a blockage leading to pain and vomiting); something my GP said I may have to live with if it didn't work itself out in time.
